Purple Ready Mix Tablet Binder – Colored Pill Binder Powder

Purple is the natural match for anything grape, blackcurrant or elderberry flavored. When the tablet color lines up with the flavor, the whole product feels more finished, and you can tell your blends apart at a glance.

It also stands out in a weekly organizer. Few everyday supplements are purple, so it is an easy choice for the one tablet you never want to mix up with the others.

Why people choose it

• No measuring out separate excipients.
• Color is already even, so there is no dye to blend by hand.
• Made in America with pharmaceutical-grade ingredients.
• The same purple shade from one order to the next.

The formula

• Binder and filler: MCC 102 (microcrystalline cellulose), for compressibility.
• Lubricant: magnesium stearate, to keep tablets from sticking to the tooling.
• Flow agent: silicon dioxide, for an even, free-flowing powder.
• Color: food-grade purple coloring.

All three base ingredients are pharmaceutical-grade, and the blend is made in America.

Mixing and pressing

• Add your ingredient to the binder in a clean, dry bowl or bag.
• Mix until the color is uniform from top to bottom.
• Load the die, press, and inspect the first tablets for hardness and finish.

A short trial run is the quickest way to dial in your process.
